About the I J Doda Foundation
The I J Doda Foundation is a registered public charitable trust established to work at the intersection of environmental protection, disaster risk reduction, education, women and social empowerment.
Rooted in scientific research and community engagement, the Foundation focuses on building climate resilience, conserving biodiversity, empowering women and youth, and strengthening institutional capacity through training, awareness and skill building.
The Foundation operates on a simple principle: sustainable development is not possible without informed people, resilient systems, and ethical leadership.
FOUNDER & VISION
Jonita Doda is an Environmental Scientist (IIT Kharagpur alumna), educator, and public communicator working at the intersection of science, policy, and society.
Through her work with government institutions, universities, and communities, she has consistently focused on translating complex scientific knowledge into accessible, actionable insight.
The I J Doda Foundation reflects this philosophy – bridging research with real-world impact, and environmental responsibility with social equity.
